The Rapture Trap (Part 7)
(The Revelations, the
Lord has given to me by the Spirit, along with my teachings and comments, are
written in Blue) (May we all have ears to hear)
John 14:15-19 If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, BECAUSE IT SEETH HIM NOT, NEITHER KNOWETH HIM: but YE KNOW HIM; for HE DWELLETH WITH YOU, AND SHALL BE IN YOU. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and THE WORLD SEETH ME (Christ Jesus in a flesh body) NO MORE; (Because here Jesus is saying that in a little while He is going to the cross, where His flesh body will be crucified, and into the Father’s hands He will commend His Spirit. Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.) BUT YE SEE ME: BECAUSE I LIVE, YE SHALL LIVE ALSO. (Those who believe in, trust in and follow Him will see Him in the Spirit: and they too, will receive eternal life, because they live in His Word, and His Spirit abides in them. Remember His Words are Spirit. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. and John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.)
John 14:20-23 At that day (… that is to say after the end of the age … that previous age when Jesus lived in the flesh, He was speaking from His perspective at that time prior to … the day since the cross, up to including even the day we live in now and beyond) ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will MANIFEST MYSELF to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that THOU WILT MANIFEST THYSELF UNTO US, (Those of us who love and follow Christ Jesus) and NOT UNTO THE WORLD? (Those who do not love nor believe in Christ Jesus, nor do they follow Him) Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and
earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till
all be fulfilled. (In
other words, the Law of Moses shall remain in place, up and until Christ Jesus
completes His work on the cross, and brings in a new heaven and earth under
Grace)
Luke 21:32-33 Verily I say unto you, This generation (the generation Jesus was living in when He was here in a flesh body) shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: (The previous system of heaven and earth was established circa 1,312 BC. At that time, the Covenant was set in place between God and Israel under the Law of Moses. This Covenant under the Law passed away and/or ended when Christ Jesus shed His precious blood on the cross in 30 AD) but (at the same time, a New Covenant under Grace was established through Christ Jesus, our Mediator, between our Heavenly Father and with “whosoever will” receive Christ Jesus, His Only Begotten Son, as their Lord and Savior. Under Grace, God’s Kingdom through the Holy Spirit is established in earth as it is in heaven. That is to say, that now, in this day, “here” in earth is a new heaven. A new earthly arrangement, under Grace, “by the Spirit”, that began back in 30 AD at the cross) my words shall not pass away.
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was NO MORE SEA. (Many times in Scripture, the word sea represents the masses of people in turmoil, rebellion, terror and unrest all over the earth. But in the new heaven and earth, not everyone on earth is represented there, because the Kingdon of God is within you) Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (There, the Christian believer and follower of Christ Jesus is a part of the Temple in God’s Kingdom, that is made without hands) Mark 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands. (In other words, this place is “in the Spirit.” In God’s Kingdom, and because we are in Christ, we are a peculiar people … a holy nation) Titus 2:13-14 Looking for … our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (The Apostle Peter stated the following after Christ Jesus rose again and ascended upon high) 1Peter 2:9-10 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. 2Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his (Christ Jesus) promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (Only those made righteous by the shed blood of Christ Jesus shall enter into God’s Kingdom) John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. In this Kingdom, we are made kings and priest, in and under Christ Jesus who is of the order of the Melchisedec Priesthood. Hebrews 6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Revelation 1:5-6 … Jesus Christ … Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, … hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (Only those who choose to deny self, lay down their lives and take up their cross and follow Christ Jesus into the Kingdom of Heaven are present there) Matthew 16:24-25 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. (That’s why the Word says “… and there was no more sea.” All of the people, that is the multitudes who live in rebellion, terror, turmoil and unrest, and continue to refuse to receive Christ Jesus, cannot enter into the Kingdom of God, unless they repent, turn around and surrender their lives to Him) Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, (Obedient to the Words of the Gospel of the Kingdom) that they may have right to the tree of life (be part of the family in Christ Jesus), and may enter in through the gates into the city (New Jerusalem). For without (outside) are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (the SEA, the world of humanity full of turmoil, rebellion, terror and unrest; a place without peace) … and this is why the Apostle John said) “I saw a new heaven and a new earth … and there was no more sea”). The Apostle Paul described the place with no more SEA in Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is … righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Note: Alexander
Maclaren Commentary: (and there was no more sea) Now what is meant by this symbol is best
ascertained by remembering how the sea appears in the Old Testament … There
are three main things which it shadows forth in the Old Testament. It
is a symbol of mystery, of rebellious power, of perpetual
unrest. And it is the promise of the cessation (end)
of these things which is set forth in that saying, ‘There was no
more sea.’ There shall be no more mystery and terror … There
shall be no more the tossing and the tumult of changing circumstances, and no
more the unrest and disquiet of a sinful heart. There shall be the ‘new
heavens and the new earth.’ The old humanity will be left,
and the relation to God will remain, deepened and glorified and made pure.
But all that is sorrowful and all that is rebellious, all that is mysterious
and all that is unquiet, shall have passed away forever.
Revelation 21:2-7 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem (the bride of Christ), coming down (to earth) from God (our Heavenly Father and Creator) out of heaven (His Eternal Holy Spirit), prepared as a bride adorned for her husband (Christ Jesus). And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, THE TABERNACLE OF GOD IS WITH MEN, and HE WILL DWELL WITH THEM, and THEY SHALL BE HIS PEOPLE, and GOD HIMSELF SHALL BE WITH THEM, AND BE THEIR GOD. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; (healing from all of the hurt in our lives) and there shall be no more death, (we no longer fear death, because we now have eternal life) neither sorrow, nor crying, (we live in peace, love and joy in the Holy Ghost) neither shall there be any more pain: (healing from past memories, we don’t look back) for the former things are passed away. (The old heaven and earth under the Law of Moses has passed away … it’s gone.) And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (in a new heaven and in a new earth … since the cross of Christ Jesus)
There will be more to come soon. It’s good to hear from those of you who have ears to hear. Our love to you all. We pray for each of you to be abundantly blessed always. In the service of our Lord Jesus Christ…
