First, let’s go to Luke’s account and take a look at some verses with which we are all familiar. Then, we’ll look at another description of the same event from the perspective of the shepherds themselves. So, let’s start with:

Luke 2:1-21 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, everyone into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. 

And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. 

And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

Now, let’s look into what the Shepherds stated themselves. It’s perfectly in line with Biblical Scripture, and we’ll be able to see some additional details, that are herein revealed, and so beautiful to add to your knowledge!

CHAPTER IV

JONATHAN’S INTERVIEW WITH THE BETHLEHEM SHEPHERDS –

LETTER OF MELKER, PRIEST OF THE SYNAGOGUE AT BETHLEHEM.

Jonathan, son of Heziel, questions the shepherds and others at Bethlehem in regard to the strange circumstances reported to have occurred there, and reports to this court.

“Jonathan to the Masters of Israel, Servants of the True God: In obedience to your order, I met with two men, who said they were shepherds, and were watching their flocks near Bethlehem. They told me that while attending to their sheep, the night being cold and chilly, some of them had made fires to warm themselves, and some of them had laid down and were asleep; that were awakened by those who were keeping watch with the questions: ‘What does all this mean? Behold, how light it is;’ that when they were aroused it was light as day. But they knew it was not daylight, for it was only the third watch. All at once the air seemed to be filled with human voices, saying, ‘Glory!  Glory!  Glory! to the most high God!’ and ‘Happy are thou, Bethlehem, for God hath fulfilled His promise to the fathers; for in thy chambers is born the King that shall rule in righteousness.’ Their shoutings would rise up in the heavens, and then would sink down in mellow strains, and roll along at the foot of the mountains, and die away in the most soft and musical manner they had ever heard; then it would begin again high up in the heavens, in the very vaults of the sky, and descend in sweet and melodious strains, so that they could not refrain from shouting and weeping at the same time. The light would seem to burst forth high up in the heavens, and then descend in softer rays and light up the hills and valleys, making everything more visible than the light of the sun, though it was not so brilliant, but clearer, like the brightest moon. I asked them how they felt – if they were not afraid; they said at first they were; but after awhile it seemed to calm their spirits, and so fill their hearts with love and tranquility that they felt more like giving thanks than anything else. They said it was around the whole city, and some of the people were almost scared to death. Some said the world was on fire; some said the gods were coming down to destroy them; others said a star had fallen; until Melker the priest came out shouting and clapping his hands, seeming to be frantic with joy. The people came crowding around him, and he told them that it was the sign that God was coming to fulfil His promise made to their father Abraham…”

Jesus stated in Luke 22:28-30 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 

The Great Day of the Lord

Malachi 4:1 (Written circa 450-420 BCE) For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble (straw,as dry: Strongs H7179): … and … the day that cometh shall burn them up (set ablaze, on fire Strongs H3857 / H853), saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 

* Matthew 13:36-43 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world (orderly arrangement including its inhabitants: Strongs G2889); the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world (age: Strongs G165 Note: That is to say the end of the age Jesus was living in back in the 1^st Century CE); and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world (age: Strongs G165). The Son of man shall send forth his angels (messengers: Strongs G32), and THEY shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the * sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 

* Malachi 4:2-6 But unto you that fear my name shall the * Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you *Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

* Matthew 11:7-15 (Jesus said this during His earthly ministry from 26 CE thru 30 CE.) And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John (the Baptist), What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses. But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if ye will receive it, this is Elias *(Elijah: Strongs G2243), which was for to come. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 

John the Baptist Prepares the Way

Matthew 3:1-12 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias (Isaiah: Strongs H3470), saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. (See Isaiah 40:3 written Circa 740 to 680 BCE) And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore, every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.  

Prophecy Against Gog

Ezekiel 38:1-13  (Prophesied from Circa 593 to 571 BCE) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? 

Ezekiel 38:14-23 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS AT THE SAME TIME WHEN GOG SHALL COME AGAINST THE LAND OF ISRAEL, SAITH THE LORD GOD, THAT MY FURY SHALL COME UP IN MY FACE. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD. 

Ezekiel 39:1-16 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken. And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog. And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD. And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. 

* Ezekiel 39:17-20 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and COME; GATHER YOURSELVES ON EVERY SIDE TO MY SACRIFICE THAT I DO SACRIFICE FOR YOU, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. And YE SHALL EAT FAT TILL YE BE FULL, AND DRINK BLOOD TILL YE BE DRUNKEN, OF MY SACRIFICE WHICH I HAVE SACRIFICED FOR YOU. THUS YE SHALL BE FILLED AT MY TABLE WITH HORSES AND CHARIOTS, WITH MIGHTY MEN, AND WITH ALL MEN OF WAR, SAITH THE LORD GOD. (See Revelation 19:17-19 below)

Ezekiel 39:21-24 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them. 

The Lord Will Restore Israel

Ezekiel 39:25-29 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. 

Rejoicing in Heaven Over the Judgement of the Great Whore

Revelation 19:1-5 (Written by the Apostle John Circa 62 CE Note: 50% of Biblical Scholars believe the Book of Revelation was written Circa 95 CE. I personally am in agreement with the other 50% who believe the Book of Revelation was written prior to the siege of Jerusalem in 67 CE by Vespasian and the destruction of it completed by Titus in 70 CE) And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Revelation 19:6-10 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 19:11-16  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 

* Revelation 19:17-19 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (See Ezekiel 39:17-20 above)

Revelation 19:20-21 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. ><>

Fear Not, I Am With You Always!!

Be Fearless in Christ Jesus

When Christ Jesus lived on earth in the flesh, and prior to the cross, we see in … Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. 

Matthew 10:5-15 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (Notice here, that prior to going to the cross He commissioned the Apostles to go ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Israel) And as ye go, preach, saying, The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is at hand (near: Strongs G1448). Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves (a wand, a scepter or baton of royalty: Strongs G4464): for the workman is worthy (deserving: Strongs G514) of his meat. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. And when ye come into an house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. 

Persecution came to Christ Jesus and His followers back then, and it is again coming against Israel and Christianity in today’s world at this very moment as I write these words. These Scriptures, spoken back in the days when Christ Jesus was living on earth in the flesh, look like a Type and Shadow of things going on in our daily lives all around the world today. Hear what He said in the Gospel of John 15:18-23 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for MY NAME’S SAKE, because they know not HIM (Almighty God the Father) that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. 

Matthew 10:16-25 BEHOLD, I SEND YOU FORTH AS SHEEP IN THE MIDST OF WOLVES: BE YE THEREFORE WISE AS SERPENTS, AND HARMLESS AS DOVES. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, TILL THE SON OF MAN BE COME (accompany, appear: Strongs G2064). The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house (Christ Jesus) Beelzebub (Satan: Strongs G954), how much more shall they call them of his household? 

God is not pleased with cowardice within the ranks of HIS servants. 2Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but (the Spirit) of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. We must walk by “faith” and not by sight, not forgetting “common sense.” We must live by following the “leadership of the Holy Spirit” with “definite decisions.” Nothing moves, within each of our own lives, without each one of us individually making “definite decisions" as needed within any given moment. And at the same time, we must remain alert in order to cast aside “foolishness.” Let’s not move in “stupid” either. Some folks jump off the cliff before they look. They forget to pray and seek guidance from our Heavenly Father, and then forget to “think” before they leap. Let’s make sure we’re hearing from the Holy Spirit and not ‘old lyin’ slewfoot.’ Now after saying all of that … it is still important to “remain flexible.” One can be walking within God’s perfect Will and Purpose … then all of a sudden, there comes a major change in how, what, when, where and why … because Almighty God’s thought’s are much higher than our own, and HE’s able to see much farther ahead than we can … so … even though we make “definite decisions” in a moment of time … let us remember to always “remain flexible.” Sometimes, at a moment’s notice, we must be alert and willing to consider another way or another direction, while at the same time, making sure we are still following HIS lead.

Matthew 10:26-33 FEAR THEM NOT therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And FEAR NOT THEM WHICH KILL THE BODY, BUT ARE NOT ABLE TO KILL THE SOUL: but rather fear HIM (Almighty God our Heavenly Father and Creator) which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (the account of this is also witnessed in Luke 12:4-5 And I say unto you my friends, BE NOT AFRAID OF THEM THAT KILL THE BODY, AND AFTER THAT HAVE NO MORE THAT THEY CAN DO. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear HIM (Almighty God), which after HE hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear HIM (Almighty God). Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess (acknowledge) me before men, him will I confess (acknowledge) also before my Father which is in heaven. But WHOSOEVER SHALL DENY ME BEFORE MEN, HIM WILL I ALSO DENY BEFORE MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN.

The Spirit Of Truth … The Spirit of Error … Now, look at what Jesus had to say in Matthew 10:40-42 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. He that receiveth a prophet in the name (authority, character: Strongs G3686) of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. 

The Apostle John … has a very clear teaching, that should be very helpful to all of us during these specific times. We are in Spiritual Warfare in a world where it’s all about “Good” verses “Evil.” It’s really time to pay close attention to what is going on all around us. Let us all be on the alert in regard to all of the fluid situations as they’re happening. This is no time to have our heads in the sand !!!

1John 4:1-6 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: EVERY SPIRIT THAT CONFESSETH (acknowledges: Strongs G3670) THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH IS OF GOD (Ok, let's look at this past sentence very closely. The KEY WORDS here are “IS COME.” This is not out of the Apostle John’s writing of the 4^th Gospel in our Christian Bible. The 4^th Gospel is basically a documentary of the life of Christ Jesus from His baptism in the river Jordan unto His death on the cross, encompassing [27AD to 30AD] The 4^th Gospel was written at some time after 30AD and, in my own opinion, prior to the siege of Jerusalem beginning in 67AD All scholars are unsure of the date of the 4^th Gospel writing. However, the letter as written in 1John … and in particular the words we are herein discussing in verses 1-6 “IS COME” … was directed to Christian believers, in and around Ephesus, several years after they had heard and received the 4^th Gospel. The point being is that when we see the word “IS COME” IN THE FLESH. The Apostle John was then saying that Christ Jesus didn’t just come in His own flesh body, but Christ Jesus is NOW even many years later, even after He died on the cross and ascended upon high … He “IS EVEN NOW COME IN THE FLESH” That is to say, in the form of the Holy Spirit, TO DWELL WITHIN THE FLESH BODY OF EACH AND EVERY TRUE BELIEVER.” It is imperative for all True Christians to clearly understand this point, or we will truly be unable to “try” and/or “discern” the spirit within others. Quick note: Trying or discerning the spirit of a person, is not judging that person): AND EVERY SPIRIT THAT CONFESSETH NOT THAT JESUS CHRIST IS COME IN THE FLESH IS NOT OF GOD: AND THIS IS THAT SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST, WHEREOF YE HAVE HEARD THAT IT SHOULD COME; AND EVEN NOW ALREADY IS IT IN THE WORLD. Ye are of God … and have overcome them: because GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD. They are of the world: therefore, speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. WE ARE OF GOD: HE THAT KNOWETH GOD HEARETH US; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 

(In Summary: This previous passage was written AFTER Christ Jesus went to the cross, died, rose again, appeared to many, and ascended upon high and was received into Heaven to sit at the Fathers right hand. It is HE … who afterward … that is to say NOW in this time, even since the time of the cross … I repeat. It is He who IS COME … in the Holy Spirit and is presently living within the innermost being, in the flesh of all of His body of believers and followers around the entire earth, serving our Eternal Heavenly Father and Creator, as Saviour, Prophet, Lord, King, High Priest, Comforter and Guide into all Truth. He is EVERYTHING to those, whether male or female, who have trusted and surrendered their lives to HIM. This is why and how Jesus could say “and, lo, I am with you always …”)

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway (all whosoever, through the age: Strongs G3956, G2250), even unto the end of the world (age: Strongs G165). Amen. (Notice here in this verse, that Jesus no longer commands the Disciples to go only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, but here … AFTER He arose from the dead and just before He ascended upon high to sit at the Father’s right hand … He told the Apostles that ALL power had been given unto Him in heaven and in earth. He then commands THEM to go and teach the Gospel of Christ Jesus to ALL nations (peoples: Strongs G1484), baptizing them in the NAME (authority, character: Strongs G3686) of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Ghost)

Matthew 13:36-43 … His (Jesus’) disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world (age: Strongs G165); and the reapers are the angels (messengers: Strongs G32). As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world (age: the one Jesus lived in). The Son of man (Jesus) shall SEND forth his angels (his messengers), and THEY shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.  

Let’s be "fearless" … It’s going to get really interesting as our Lord leads us on to total victory in this battle of “Good” verses “Evil.” We’ve all read the last chapter of the book … Love to all … We win !!!

10) Let Us All Get to Work … STAND!!

The Rapture Trap … (Part 10)

(The Revelations, the Lord has given to me by the Spirit, along with my teachings and comments, are written in Blue) (May we all have ears to hear)

I send my personal greetings to all, and to whosoever has been reading and studying our Heavenly Father’s Word. I send greetings to all, who are learning about love, unity and understanding in Him, through the revelation of the Gospel of Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

This is my 10^th blog post in regard to what I call “The Rapture Trap”. I call it a trap, because of the false teaching of the “Rapture of, or the catching away of, the Christian Church” PROJECTS A FALSE PERSPECTIVE through the misunderstanding of God’s Word, LOCKING many of the followers of Christ Jesus INTO A BELIEF IN A MINDSET, that causes them to WASTE MOST OF, IF NOT ALL OF, THEIR LIVES WAITING on, and EXPECTING an event, that is never going to happen, IN THE WAY they’ve understood it, and have heard it taught. It places a false picture, or should I say, a myth, in the mind of the believer, that is supposed to happen at a certain moment in time. The catching away of the church does not happen this way! That one specific moment in time will never come. This “Rapture” mindset teaches believers and followers, that they do not have to do anything, and that they can simply wait on the Lord to come and carry them out of here, when the trouble starts. That’s just what SATAN would have the followers of Christ Jesus to believe!

Old Slewfoot is pleased, that the followers of Christ Jesus are doing nothing but WAITING TO GET OUT OF HERE, believing they won’t be around for the battle in troubled times.

Well, that’s not God’s will at all. He wants to make mature Christians out of us all, and HE’s telling us exactly what to do in order to STAND against the enemy IN A DAY THAT HAS COME UPON US. Let’s take a look at this passage written by the Holy Ghost concerned with God’s Will and moving upon the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. (BE MATURE IN THE LORD … remember the word ‘perfect’ means ‘complete, mature’) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to STAND against the WILES (methods, traveling over, travesty, trickery … Strongs G3180) of the DEVIL.  (a traducer; specifically Satan the arch enemy of good, false accuser, slanderer … Strongs G1228) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to WITHSTAND in the EVIL DAY, and having done all, to STAND. STAND therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; The Lord doesn't make us mature Christians in order to take us out of here, so we can relax in paradise. God doesn’t need us on the other side. He wants us to do what we are called to do here on earth, in these earthen vessels. STAY HERE AND STAND … STAND THEREFORE … It’s as simple as that. In these 10 blog posts, I’ve attempted to explain the Scripture clearly.

Now I must say this. I’m not down on any of God’s servants for teaching this theory in God’s Word, whether out of not studying enough, or out of any other reason. I do not believe any of God’s servants have intentionally taught this “Rapture” teaching in order to mislead or hurt people, who follow Christ Jesus. It does require serious study, and the help of the Holy Ghost, in order to get it correct and clear. I believe that some of the larger ministries have grown so fast, that maybe at times the Pastor’s didn’t have or take the time to look into this area in a more serious way. I mean no offence whatsoever to any Pastor, Teacher, Apostle, Prophet or Evangelist called of God, nor to any other Christian Ministry, whether of Administrations or Helps ... nor of any other follower of Christ Jesus for that matter.  

Now it is true, that some of the leaders of some of the Christian Churches are “Called of God” and there are others who “Just Went.” I’m not going down this road any farther today, but suffice it to say, I do not want to offend anyone. I simply want to show people in God’s Word, that we all need to be mature adults and diligent doers of the Word here on earth, during our lives.

We should not spend our time on earth, waiting on a sudden event that isn’t going to happen the way it’s been taught and received. The perspective of the “Rapture” teaching over the past years since 1830 CE has always been incorrect. I’m not saying that the Church isn’t being caught away. It is and has been ever since Jesus finished His work on the cross. We will all leave here soon enough. Believe me! You can count on that!! The older you get, the more you'll realize it. 2Corinthians 4:14 Knowing that HE which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus … 1Corinthians 6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

As soon as you complete God’s will for your life and DO YOUR PART in fulfillment of His purpose within your life, I’m sure our Heavenly Father will take you all of the way home. But for Gods’ sake … Don’t just sit at the bus stop, waiting on the bus that will never come. Get up, get to work on what God would have you to do. God needs His people to do what needs to be done here. HE doesn’t need us in Beulah Land right now. We will ALL live until we lay this flesh body down. Now that’s really profound, isn’t it? There’s a war going on in the spirit right now, as I write these words, and it’s right here on earth as well. It’s a war between GOOD and EVIL. So come on folks … let’s ALL GET OUT of the “waiting for God to take us out of here mindset” and GET ON the right track! GET TO WORK! We know who wins!

Upon completing this post, I’m not going to post anything more concerning the “Rapture Trap”. After studying the past 10 posts, knowing this subject is extremely controversial, anyone should be able to see the Words of Christ Jesus in the correct light, in regard to this. If you cannot see, that the Truth of the Lord’s Word simply washes away the falsehood of the “Rapture” teaching, whether pre, mid or post tribulation (that 7 year period, prophesied by Daniel in the 70 Weeks Prophecy approximately 500 BC in Daniel 9:24-27, occurred back in the days when Christ Jesus was here in the flesh), then I suggest you continue to study the Word more than you ever have before, and ask the Holy Ghost to HELP reveal the correct understanding to you. 

I know my comments in clearing up the theory and false teaching of the Rapture, have been lengthy. I pray your eyes are opened to see, understand and receive all of what I’ve been attempting to reveal to you. I had to get these comments to you before moving forward. All Glory be to our Heavenly Father!!

9) Establishing the Kingdom in Earth

The Rapture Trap … (Part 9)

(The Revelations, the Lord has given to me by the Spirit, along with my teachings and comments, are written in Blue. The term Original Hebrew: as used in this particular post, refers to the Eth Cepher (meaning: Divine Book) whom many scholars consider to be a more accurate or complete translation of Christian Holy Scripture. May we all have ears to hear)

Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ (the Annointed Messiah: Strongs G5547); and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. (Jesus spoke these words, prior to going to the cross, in relation to a question pertaining to the end of that age in which He lived back then, which turned out to be when the Temple was destroyed, by the Roman army, in 70 AD. These Words of Jesus are still good today. Let’s all remember what was prophesied in Daniel 7:13-14 I saw in the night visions, and behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. (It was well over 500 years later, when Christ Jesus fulfilled this prophecy. Now without getting sidetracked, let’s take notice of the 3 more Scriptures within the same Chapter.)

* Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

* Daniel 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, (Almighty God came, revealing His power through the person of Jesus Christ. Remember in John 8:58 where Jesus said Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am) and  (then after Christ Jesus died on the cross, rose again and ascended upon High) judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. 

* Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, SHALL BE GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE OF THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. (So, let’s ask ourselves, who are the people of the saints of the Most High, who have been given an everlasting kingdom, dominion and greatness of the kingdom?)

John 14:13-21 And WHATSOEVER ye shall ask in my name (in the CHARACTER, and the AUTHORITY of Christ Jesus: Strongs G3686. It’s not just because we mention His name. We should be in a right [RIGHTEOUS ATTITUDE] and AT ONE with HIM in OUR INNERMOST BEING, in order to pray in HIS name AUTHORITY and CHARACTER), that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name (in the CHARACTER of Christ Jesus), I (Jesus) will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and THE WORLD SEETH ME NO MORE; (Now what is so hard to understand here? Jesus is plainly stating, that after He lays down His life on Calvary, the THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD WILL NOT SEE HIM ANYMORE) but ye (the believer in Christ Jesus will) see me: because I live (after dying on the cross, then rising again, to ascend unto the Father), ye shall live also (because the ascended Christ Jesus sends the Holy Spirit, even the Spirit of Truth to lead us, guide us, and abide with us, who follow Him, forever). AT THAT DAY (Yes, even today) YE SHALL KNOW that I (Christ Jesus) AM IN MY FATHER, and YE (You are) IN ME (Christ Jesus), and I (Christ Jesus live) IN YOU. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he (mankind: just to be clear; man or woman who follows the Words of Christ Jesus) that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I (Christ Jesus) will love him, and will MANIFEST MYSELF to him (mankind: man or woman who follows the Words of Christ Jesus). 

John 14:22-26 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt MANIFEST thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and WE (the Father and the Son are One in Spirit) will come (appear: Strongs 2064) unto him, and make OUR abode (residence, or dwelling place: Strongs G3438, G3306) with him (in other words the LORD will appear or MANIFEST in the Spirit, and will COME to live within the person who truly loves Him). He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 

Jesus said in John 10:9 I am the door (door to what?... Ans: the Kingdom): by me (Christ Jesus) if any man enter in (enter in what?... Ans: the Kingdom), he shall be saved (delivered, protected, healed, preserved, do well, be made whole: Strongs G4982), and shall go in (enter in: Strongs G1525) and out (proceed forth, spread abroad: Strongs G1831), and find pasture (supply, pasturage, food, eating, etc,: Strongs G3542). John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (Christ Jesus). 

Matthew 6:13 (Remember when Jesus was teaching the disciples how to pray near the beginning of His ministry. He said in Matthew 6:9-10  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. THY KINGDOM COME. THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH (Notice the word: IN as in earthen vessels), AS IT IS IN HEAVEN (IN the Spirit). Then at the end of the prayer He said to the Father as well as to the disciples…) For THINE IS (you are, ye yourselves, your house, is: Strongs G4675, G5210, G4771) (In other words Jesus said Almighty God the Father and HIS family is) THE KINGDOM, and THE POWER, and THE GLORY, FOREVER. Amen. 

Matthew 16:15-20 He (Jesus) saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven… (Jesus stated in John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him MUST WORSHIP him in Spirit and in Truth. How can anyone worship our Heavenly Father, the Creator of all things, when they do not have the Spirit of God living within their innermost being, and … when they know not the Truth, because they have no knowledge whatsoever of God’s Word, in order to learn of Him, and make a definite decision, to serve Him or not?) …And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock (that is to say, that upon this fact, that Almighty God the Father, who is Spirit, and Creator of all things, communicated and revealed, directly to Peter, the true revelation of the exact identity of Christ Jesus. At this particular moment, Jesus saw that His teaching had successfully found good ground, and had taken root in the heart of Peter. Therefore, Jesus definitely knew that Peter was able to hear from the Father. It was here, that Jesus saw that His ministry was working, and that He could and would establish His church, beginning with Peter) I will (*build: or *rebuild: Original Hebrew *my church: or *my called out assembly: Original Hebrew); and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of (*heaven: or of *Yahuah / The Lord: Original Hebrew): and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ or YAHUSHA HAMASHIACH Jesus Christ (Salvation in the Messiah).

Matthew 19:28-30 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me … in the *regeneration (remember the previous Word *rebuild) when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging (to distinguish, decide, try, ordain, condemn, avenge, damn, decree, sentence, determine, punish, or esteem, etc.) the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. 

John 15:7-13 IF YE ABIDE IN ME, and MY WORDS ABIDE IN YOU, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (Remember John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; … the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE. Now this is praying in the ‘Character’ of Jesus) Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in His love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 

(After Jesus had risen from the tomb, and before He ascended into Heaven, in) Matthew 28:18-20 … Jesus came and spake unto them (the disciples), saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye (you go) therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you (in other words, He is telling them, that He will be with them in the Spirit) (alway all, daily, 24 hours a day: G3956, G2250), even unto the (end entire completion, consummation: Strongs G4930) of the (world age: Strongs G165). Amen. 

(Now look at what happens next. Mark explains it clearly) Mark 16:19-20 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, HE (Christ Jesus) was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And THEY (the disciples) went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord (eventhough, He wasn’t present here in the flesh … He was present here in the Spirit) working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. (… and our Lord still works with each believer that same way, unto this very day. Therefore, let us be DOERS of the Word, and not hearers only)

Matthew 6:33 … seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness ...

Ok ... enough for now. I do hope you clearly see that Jesus Christ came in the flesh and completed His work of establishing His Kingdom here in the earth and returned to the Father in the Spirit. Plus, He has given this Kingdom to us, the people of the Most High, while still working with us from on High. Stay with me. In my next post, and we’ll get into the Keys to the Kingdom.
