Let Us Pray
(The Revelations, the Lord has given to me by the Spirit, along
with my teachings and comments, are written in Blue) (May we all have ears to
hear)
2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name (authority, character … H8034 Strong’s … Notice the word “my” here, that the Lord is talking about HIS PEOPLE … not those who have rejected HIM; not those who do not believe in, nor those who fail to follow HIM in obedience. He is addressing those who do believe in HIM, but are still seemingly powerless to overcome themselves, and all the while remain unable to overcome continually living in their past wicked ways), shall humble themselves, and PRAY, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN, AND WILL HEAL THEIR LAND. (Also, take note here that this Word from God came to the people of Israel, who back then lived much of their lives in a backslidden condition, due to the fact that they were learning, that they were unable to keep the Law. Of course, this was hundreds of years before Christ Jesus was born. Today, after the work of Christ Jesus on the cross, we’ve learned that ALMIGHTY GOD CREATED ALL THINGS … if He didn’t, there would be two (2) Creators, and we know that isn’t truth. Plus, all of humanity is God’s creation, but we are not all God’s children until, or unless, we are Born Again of His Spirit. In other words, WE ARE ALL GODS CREATURES, BUT WE ARE NOT ALL GODS CHILDREN. This is all very important when it comes to prayer and/or looking at 2Chronicles 7:14)
Romans 8:1-9 There is therefore now no
condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of
life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For
what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God
sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin
in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Romans 8:10-11 And IF Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Romans 8:12-16 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
James 1:17-18 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of His own will begat he us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
John 14:1-14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. (Here we’ve previously learned that after Christ Jesus went to the cross, rose again and ascended upon high, He sent the Holy Spirit from our Heavenly Father to come again and live within those of us who are willing to receive Him. Then we, His Bride, can easily follow Christ Jesus all of the time, and do all things the way He would do them, because the knowledge of His Word fills our hearts and minds, and His Spirit living at one with our spirit, grants unto us witness to know what is right and in line with His Word in the very heart of our innermost being. The Scripture teaches us that His Words are Spirit. John 6:63 … the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. They are one! In other words, to say it in the language of an old country boy … we get a knowing in our knower!) Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (This is very important to know when it comes to PRAYER). If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (Here, Jesus is telling them, that He is going to the cross, lay down his life, rise again and ascend upon high to the right hand of the Father. And He is saying to His followers, that they have their entire lives ahead of the them, so get to work spreading God’s Word and advancing His Kingdom in earth … you know … as it is in heaven!). And whatsoever ye shall ask IN MY NAME (authority, character … G3686 Strong’s … Yes, this is tremendously important as well. IN MY NAME doesn’t just mean we are to mention and use the name of Jesus like when we first cry out for HIM to come into our hearts and lives. But, especially after we have received HIM, when we pray, we should move our attitude into a position of boldness, humility, and sincereness within our very innermost being within HIM, where HE is within us. We need to be WITHIN HIS CHARACTER and AUTHORITY when we pray. It’s how we should enter into HIS PRESENCE. We need to be in that place within our innermost being, where we are aware of our own spirit being … being present WITHIN HIS SPIRIT living within us. Then … we are truly praying IN HIS NAME character and authority), that will I do, THAT THE FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED IN THE SON. If ye shall ask any thing IN MY NAME, I will do it. (Even the devil and his demons, NOW IN THIS PRESENT TIME know and believe Christ Jesus has been given all power in heaven and in earth. Why don’t they want prayer in our schools? They say they don’t believe in God, and that there is no God. If they really believed that, they wouldn’t be concerned about Prayer in our Schools or anywhere else. Because they know there is power in prayer, they seek to eliminate prayer anywhere they can get away with it) Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
John 15:7-8 IF ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, THAT YE BEAR MUCH FRUIT; so shall ye be my disciples.
(The Apostle Paul put it this way in) Hebrews 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
(Paul states in) Ephesians 6:10-20 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and HAVING DONE ALL, TO STAND. STAND therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION IN THE SPIRIT, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
(Let’s hear what the Apostle James had to say about this) James 4:1-7 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet YE HAVE NOT, BECAUSE YE ASK NOT. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? WHOSOEVER THEREFORE WILL BE A FRIEND OF THE WORLD IS THE ENEMY OF GOD. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. RESIST THE DEVIL, AND HE SHALL FLEE FROM YOU.
Now is the time for all members of the Body of Christ Jesus to enter into His courts with praise and thanksgiving for all of the blessing HE has bestowed upon us all. It is time to pray for victory in every battle set before us … that our people and our land may be placed back on a track of law and order under our original Constitution as written, based upon Christian principles, by our nation’s founders. Let lawlessness and sin be cast down, and let our nation come back into cleanliness in all of our hearts, and let a Spirit of Righteousness prevail in us all, that healing may take place all across our land.
